Love and Butterflies

I have been working on several different drafts for different post and getting some post scheduled.  One of the things I wanted to talk about was LOVE.  I was originally going to save this post for later this month (my anniversary) but once I saw the challenge for the Saturday's Song link up was "love" I thought I would go ahead and share some of my things from my "love"post :)

I originally got the idea for this post the other day when I was thinking how my husband still gives me butterflies so much and how safe he makes me feel. {I seriously feel so safe as long as I know my hubby is near} I was talking with one of my best blogging buddies about our hubbies and how we love them and feel so much better when they are around etc. I told her I still get so excited when he gets home in the evenings.  I am like a lil puppy running around the house whenever I hear his truck pull in the drive.  My heart starts beating faster and I can feel the butterflies coming on.  Just about every day I beat him to the door...have it opened and grinning ear to ear.  I am always trying to hug him before he can even get in the door, ha.  I can hear him now "Go on...you're crazy/silly." or "quit I am so dirty" haha But don't think I didn't see that smile on his face, and I love it when he laughs at me as he *tries to get by me!
I can also pass him on the road during the day and get those butterflies.  I feel like we are still in high school.  I remember the first time I saw him since I had moved back home (after attending a boarding school...and no I was not sent to it because I was bad!) I was eating lunch with one of my best friends when I looked over and saw him sitting with a group of guys from their work.  I immediately got those butterflies ( those same one he gave me in middle school and those same ones he gives me today) Now for the funny part, and the part he still picks on me for today. ... please keep in mind my age ha.  So I whisper to my friend I was going to get up and walk by his table {pretend to get something} and you tell me if he looks/notices/watches me :) Well I guess since that was like approximately 14 years ago you can guess he did notice me and it was only weeks later we started dating seriously again.
Now there have been plenty of days he has made me so mad and I am sure he would say the same about me.  And usually most of the times when I am mad at him I always forget...UGH and that just makes me mad itself hahaha.  I can be so mad and want to prove my point then I will just forget and have to tell him something or I simply see him and those butterflies return and I just forget!
We have had our shares of ups and downs as I shared throughout my testimony but one thing is certain...he has stood by my side no matter what.  He didn't leave me when most men would have.  Even though I was super skinny when we first started dating and since have put on a TON of weight he still loves me.  He has allowed me to stay home and return to school.  I give him a pretty hard time about a lot of things and often tell him what he needs to work on but I hope he also knows I appreciate all he does do and I am so proud of him. He is a wonderful man of God, a great dad (even if he does act like one of the kids most of the time), a very hard worker...I don't know anyone else who works as hard as my hubby, and I could go on FOREVER.
We have been through SO MUCH together and no one knows me better than he does.  He knows things about me I have never shared with anyone else and I know sides of him no one else will probably ever see.

OK so I will save the rest of our love story for later =)

Now it is time for a song ....I love this song and it was one of my favorites for 2012.  It always puts me in a great mood.  I think it is great for us to not only remember the love we have for each other but also the PERFECT LOVE God has for us and I love sharing how much I LOVE GOD!!!
