Hello friends! I want to welcome all of my newest friends as well! I hope everyone had a nice weekend. I did...I didn't do much, but any weekend I spend with the hubby and kids is a great weekend.
Anyways, I wanted to share a recipe with you today for this YUMMY homemade hot chocolate.
I dont know about y'all but I LOVE me some hot chocolate.
I dont get the credit for this recipe though....One of my good friends came over after Christmas and brought me some goodies to make the hot chocolate she had made with her little girls when they were growing up. She sent me a text on her way to my house and told me to get 7 cups of water in a pot and be warming it up. =) Once she got here we added a half a cup of coco, one can of sweet condensed milk, a little bit of vanilla (approximately a tsp) and a dash of salt. I stirred it all together and let it get good and warm....{um I think I may have to go make me some more now just thinking about it}
Once it was warm we of just *had to top it with several marshmallows.
It was so good that I have made it like 3 times already and the kids love it too.
And you can store what you don't drink right then in any container and keep it in the fridge for later.
{I think I maybe even like it better the next morning}
It is so yummy, cheap, and easy...now that is my kind of recipe =)
I also want to share a quick praise report.....Sunday night, as some of you that I talk to regularly already know, I had to stay up ALL night with my daughter who had to have one of her regularly scheduled sleep deprived EEG's on Monday morning. Well I was to thank everyone for prayers and praise Jesus for them being answered. We made it up until her test time and she did great! And it gets even better with great test results we are going to try and lower some medicine =) I'm so excited and I just had to share. I was originally not going to share it publicly but afterwards I realized I wanted to share my praise report and give God the glory He so deserves....and SO MUCH MORE!!
God is Good
here we are at 3 a.m. playing memory =)

Aww God is so good!! I'm so happy about your daughter's test results! Also, that recipe for hot chocolate sounds wonderful! I made jars of hot chocolate for Christmas, but the recipe had a lot of ingredients, it was good, but not as simple as yours. I'm gonna have to try it out!
